In this class, students will discover the excitement of literature and literary analysis. My background is in literary analysis, so I love sharing that passion and experience with other people.
At the beginning of the term, I will present a few options for books we can read during the semester. We might focus on dragons and magic, relatable stories, or mystery and investigation. Once the topic has been chosen, I will select a few specific books we will read throughout the semester. The length of time we spend on each book will depend on the length of the book and the students. There will be writing assignments and possibly some variety of projects that could be creative in nature. Students in this class need to be comfortable reading, writing, and discussing.
